Hill Visits
11:50 a.m. – 2:50 p.m.

Join us for the ASPPA Annual Meetings on Capitol Hill to help educate, inform, and influence members of Congress on the importance of the employer-sponsored retirement system! This year, we confront potential passage of positive federal retirement legislation such as the SECURE (Setting Every Community Up for Retirement Enhancement Act), and new legislative proposals which could undermine vital retirement plan incentives for working Americans.
Your Chance to Engage

You possess a unique understanding on how people choose to save for their future, and nothing matters more to an elected federal official than hearing a message straight from his or her constituent. We will schedule the meetings on your behalf with your local representative and we will provide talking points and leave behind materials. You will be placed in a group with other conference attendees from your area. We hold a short informational session the evening before the visits to get you prepared for your meetings on Capitol Hill. Bus transportation and lunch will be provided. Meetings do not conflict with any ASPPA Annual Conference sessions.

Sign up Today

Sign up early to secure a better chance of actually meeting with your Representative or Senator. Please provide us with your home address (not your business address) so that we are able to best match you with your correct Representative and Senator. A Capitol Hill Meetings booth will be set up from the start of the conference through the morning of the visit where you can pick up your informational package – talking points, map of the hill, meeting information, and more!

Earn 2 ASPPA CE Credits

To receive your CE Credits for attending the 2019 Capitol Hill meetings, you must fill out the survey emailed to you following the Hill Meetings.
